Uefa Champions League Matchday Four

Selections for Tuesday 31 October 2006

PSV Eindhoven is my selection as the best bet for the evening. They beat Galatasaray at home 2 goals to one and now have home ground advantage and a goal ahead.

Valencia travel with a two goal advantage and they should be able to hold onto their advantage whenthey travel to play against Shaktar.

Bayern Munich host Sporting and the Germans will surely not their advatage slip away from them and they are playing at home as well.

Liverpool host Bordeaux and with arre now coming into form. Rafel Benetez men should be able to win this encounter although it will be a tough one

The other matches may produce some upsets

Olympiakos may just upset AS Rome who have home and a goal advantage.

Inter Milan away to Spartak will be held by the Russians so an upset is possible here.

Werder should hold onto their two goal advantage.

Uefa Champions League Matchday Three

Arsenal travel to Moscow to meet CSKA Moscow. The Russians came from behind to win their last match in Russian against Kazan. Arsenals won away at Watford the weekend. Arsene Wenger will most likely field Theo Walcott in the match. A clso encounter with a slight advantage to Arsenals.
Anderlecht host AC Milan and the Italians will find that the home team may just have the measure against them and a draw is predicted here and a possibilty that Anderlecht may just beat AC MIlan.
The match between Lille and AEK Athens should end in a draw
Manchester United play at home against FC Copenhagen and SIR ALex’s team should win this match
Olympic Lyon have an excellent chance of beating Dynamo Kiev.
Celtic host Benfica and the Scots will win this encounter although the coach feels that this would be a tough match
FC Porto host Hamburg and should be ablt to make use of their home ground advantage to beat the Germans
