Trindad start off with a draw against Sweden

Trinidad hold Sweden to a goaless drawJune 11th, 2006
The minnows Trinidad and Tobago held a rampiant Sweden to a goalless draw and the Islanders played their hearts out and this result will surely give them more confidence for their next match.
An early own gaol by Gamarra of Paraguay, gave England a lead which they held on to register a win. The match was not really exciting and England will have to improve in order to really go onto the next round.

Argentina and the Ivory Coast play a thrilling brand of soccer and it was indeed a match to really watch. Herman Crespo scored the first goal for Argentina.
The Argentinians scored again and the lead was two goals to nil. Drogba pulled one goal back and the match was on however the South Americans held to their lead
