AC Milan 2 - 1 Liverpool

AC MILAN CROWNED CHAMPIONS

AC Milan were early this evening crowned the 2007 Champions of the UEFA Champions League after they had beaten Liverpool by two goals to one.

Liverpool missed some good opportunities to take the lead in the first half, however Inzaghi's deflection had Reina beaten and the Italians went off the first half with a cool lead

Liverpool tried hard , but AC Milan did not let them into the game and protected their lead . Inzaghi scored again in the 82nd minute and the Italians went two up . Kuyt scored in the 89th minute to reduced the score to 2 - 1 but this was not enough for the Reds .

Liverpool take AC Milan in Athens Greece this evening for what will surely be a great final to the UEFA's Champions League

Liverpool will surely be looking to win this encounter and grant them automatic entry into the groups phase of next year's Champions League instead of playing qualifying matches.

A win for Liverpool is predicted and the the man of the match should surely be Steven Gerrad

Arsenals play Chelsea this weekend

Arsenal meet Chelsea at the Emirates this week and both teams will be looking to cement their position on the league table. Chelsea will beam after their penalty shoot=out loss to Liverpool and Arsenals are unbeaten at home for their last three matches played at home.

The UEFA Champions League Finals between AC Milan and Liverpool will take place on the 27 May 2007 in Athens Greece and a bumper evening is forcasted for all fans of this great comepetition.

Manchester United and Chelsea were knocked during the semi finals stage and AC Milan ensured that the finals would not be an all English affair.

AC milan defeated Manchester UNited and Liverpool defeated Chelsea after a penalty shoout.

AC MIlan progress to the finals of UEFA Champions League

AC Milan scored three goals in the return leg and booked their place for a final clash with Liverpool who had earlier ousted out Chelsea on a penalty shootout.

Kaka scored in the 11th minute bringing the scores on level after Mancheter had an advantage in the first leg of the semi final. Seedorf scored during the 30th minute and Gilardino cemented the victory with a goal in the 78th minute.

Anger scored in the 22nd minute of the game against Chelsea levelling the aggregate and the match went into extra time and still no verdict. Liverpool won the penalty shootout and the final aggregate was 4 -1

Liverpool now meet AC Milan in the Finals in Turkey

Liverpool play against Chelsea in UEFA second leg semi finals

Liverpool host Chelsea at Anfield this evening and Chelsea have a goal advantage . Liverpool lost over the wekend and Chelsea drew their league encounter.

The match will have its surprises but I fancy Chelsea and Mourinho to progress to the finals.


AC Milan host Manchester United and the Italians will be not taking the match too lightly as they are behind by a goal and they will have to ensure that its not an all English finals
