Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern, Valencia and Sporting win their matches

AS anticipated, Barcelona won their match comfortably and Liverpool played to a no score draw against PSV.
Chelsea beat Werder Bremen by two goals to nil and bayern Munich defeated teh Russiians by four goals.
Caneiria scored in the sixty fourth minute to beat Inter Milan. Inter Milan played with ten after Patrick Viera received his second yellow card in the 68th minute of the game.
Galatasaray and Bordeaux played to a goaless draw.
Roma beat Shaktar by scoring four late goals.
Valencia outplayed Olympiakos and scored four against the two scored by Olympiakos .
Overall not many upsets in the first of the group pjase matches of the Champions League

Champions League Matchday ONe

This evening sees the start of eight matches in the matchday one of the Champions League.
Barcelona host Leviski and the Spaniards should coast to victory in this match.
Liverpool travel to Holland to take on PSV Eindhoven and looking at stats ,this match is sure top priduce a draw result.
The Turks Galatasaray meet the Bordeaux and this match although it leans towards a Galatasaray win, an upset seems to be on the cards today.
Bayern Munich meet Spartak here although the Germans are favourites, its not going to be that easy so watch for an upset or a draw.
Olympiakos take on Valencia and here the Greeks should have the measure of the Spaniards.
AS Roma play Shakthar and the visitors will surely be at their best and probably cause the first upset against the Italians.
Sporting and Inter Milan should play to a draw.

Chelsea with their strong armour should be too good for the visiting Germans .
